In April, our friend Liz had a birthday party at the beach! It was a nice sunny day, so it turned out to be a great day for going to the beach. Of course we're still in Aberdeen, so that means two things: 1. The weather is never hot 2. The sea is always freezing cold.
So, here are some photos of the little boys (mostly) enjoying a good "Aberdeen-beach-day"

Ewan had fun playing in the sand.

So did Duncan.

We were at a spot on the beach where there is that extra little inlet part (or whatever its really called) that is always a bit warmer than the waves-part.

Splashing in that part.

Pouring sand.

The birthday girl having fun running down the sand dunes

Ewan gonna share his apple with Lizzie

Tanja playing with the boys in the water

The boy loves to eat! And he loves his apples.

Dig dig dig!

Getting to the beach part from the car park we walked on some board walk and up some sand dunes.

He sees the water!!

Daddy and Ewan walking to the beach

Mommy and Duncan walking to the beach

I love this face! I think he was getting splashed at that moment.

Duncan and Daddy went to the waves to feel how cold it was

Until next time....

What a fun day! Happy Birthday to Liz. Your boys are going to think the water in the States is like bath water. They seemed to brave the cold water well. We miss you guys!!
It is sooooo hard to view the pictures. We miss you guys. Thanks for sharing your lives with us so faithfully.
WE love pictures and adventures with you all! Remember the GREAT beach last year? ahhhh
