This is where we stayed in France. It was a town of about 5 houses and lots of countryside, so it was pretty peaceful. Neil's parents were gracious enough to host us for the 6 days we were there, and they were such great hosts - lots of good food and drink and they also took us to a few sight-seeing places nearby.
Duncan and Ewan were superstar-travelers and did great adjusting to the new places and new rules fairly quickly. We greatly enjoyed the relaxation of hanging out in the back garden on the swings and playing in the grass.
According to Hayley (who had been there a week prior to our arrival) the weather was beautiful and hot. Of course we had to take the Aberdeen weather with us, so most of our days were cold and cloudy. I know it doesn't really matter what the weather is like when you get to hang out with family, but I was still quite happy about the one day I actually got to wear shorts and a tank top!

Here we are on that warm day! Hayley took some family photos for us.

And Joe took some family photos of Hayley, Neil and Juniper.

And of course Hayley and I had Joe take some pictures of us, too.

Duncan loved the little rocks out by the patio and kept his digger and dump truck busy for most of the day.

Ewan getting a ride on the bicycle from Grandpa Frank.

Baby Juniper loved holding her mommy's hands and walking around.

Riding bikes and walking around the back garden.

Of course there is football to be played as well.

And Juni was trying Ssome footie, too.

Shifty-eyed Ewan.

Ewan, Joe and Duncan. So sweet!

Ewan, Me and Duncan - kisses all around.

Neil and Juniper.

Ewan wearing Juniper's hat. With this hat on, he sort of looks like his cousin, Sojourner.

Duncan.

Duncan and Ewan sharing the buggy. Although Duncan likes to walk everywhere while we're at home, while we were in France he seemed to want to ride in the buggy much more than usual. Our single buggy can lay all the way down, so Duncan just sat behind when he wanted a ride.

One of the days we were there, Neil's sister and her husband and 2 kids came and stayed overnight. Duncan loved playing with (perhaps better described as "being bossed around by" haha!) Emma and Kian.

Swinging on the big boy swing!

Sweet little boy.
Night-night!
